The weight of this recorder is 3kg, and its dimension (WxHxD) 43×6x28cm occupies minimum space making it more convenient. The type of this recorder is table, since you cannot watch videos without the help of television or PC.
Compatible DVD Recorder Formats
Mainly there are three types of DVD recorders work in different ways.
1. DVD +R/RW
This recorder support DVD+R/RW format discs and can playback on most DVD players. If you want to share the videos, then this is the apt one. You can only write once on the DVD+R format disc and can be rewritten in DVD +RW format discs.
2. DVD -R/RW
This recorder support DVD-R/RW format discs and this type disc automatically finds and records the video in the available blank space. Nowadays blank discs are getting cheaper and can fit to TV to record your favourite programmes. DVD-R format discs can be written once whereas on DVD-RW format discs you can write as many times as you like. One drawback is that these types of discs can only playback in compatible DVD –R/RW players.
3. DVD -RAM
The DVD RAM allows viewing of a programme from the start while it is being still recorded. It also allows you to watch one programme and allows you to record another one and you can pause the live TV. It can be rewritten but only can be played in DVD RAM player. This recorder does not support DVD-RAM recording and playback.
Connectivity
LG DR275 table DVD Recorder has a frontal audio video input and one video output. The coaxial cable is used for AV connections. The digital audio formats used in this recorder are Dolby Digital Output and DTS digital output. The output sound mode is stereo and the sound effect is 3D. This DVD Recorder has 2 scart sockets. This recorder has no HDMI outputs. The power consumed by this recorder is17 Watt.
