LG, a familiar company that manufactures every kind of electronic systems, now launches a new product, LG RH266 DVD Recorder. DVD Recorders are very useful to record sounds and images via DVDs, CDs and TVs.

This is a special type of DVD Recorder with 160 GB HDD. It has Advanced Progressive Scan, therefore you can playback all DVD formats such as DVD Video, Video CD, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL, CD, CD-R, CD-RW. It supports DivX, MP3, WMA, JPEG, MPEG4 file formats. LG RH266 DVD Recorder has a Super-Multi DVD Recording formats on DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL.

The two recording type has some recording times depending upon their modes. That is, 160GB HDD has the recording times in:

1. XP Mode 43 hours
2. SP Mode 84 hours
3. LP Mode 164 hours
4. EP Mode 233 hours
5. MLP Mode 477 hours

 Likewise DVD recording times to 4.75GB disc are:

1. XP Mode 1 hour
2. SP Mode 2 hours
3. LP Mode 4 hours
4. EP Mode 6 hours
5. MLP Mode 11 hours

 LG RH266 DVD Recorder has the ability to rip songs to HDD with DVD and CD. It simultaneously does the recording work as well as playbacks. It has the facility of 3D sounds with Dolby Digital support and DTS effects. The speed of Audio D/A converter is 192 kHz/24-bit and for Video D/A converter is 54MHz/10-bit. It is embedded with composite front connections and an Analog Audio L+R out, Coaxial and an Optical Digital Audio output, S-Video out, component out, HDMI, two SCART connectors, RF Input and output Rear connections.

However it is advanced and that is the reason why the power consumption is less than 1 W. Its Video TV resolutions are 480i and 576i. It allows the PAL and SECAM video output system. User can have the Dolby Digital and DTS audio sound facility.

LG RH266 DVD Recorder has the ability to edit the recorded works with Time-shift mode. It helps to avoid the commercials and to re-order the programme schedule. The Rewind and Pause options allows you to freeze the TV when programmes may be frequently recorded. Chasing playback helps the user for fast forwarding during the breaks and gives the real-time broadcast recording. This attractive DVD recorder comes to the market in silver or black exterior colours, with the dimensions 430 x 54 x 275 mm which are the width, height and depth respectively.
