This Samsung DVD recorder has dimensions of 5.9 x 43.0 x 21.8cm. This device has digital tuner with all Freeview channels. It supports 1080p DVD up scaling. The recording formats of the recorder are DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVDRAM. IT also supports MP3 and DivX playback. Dual layer recording is applicable only for DVD+R and DVD-R formats. The play back formats of the device are DVD, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, MPEG4 (DIVX 3.1, 4, 5), CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and JPEG formats.
This Samsung SR275M/XEU Black DVD Recorder has eight recording modes and supports up to eight hours recording time. The other features of the recorder are integrated IDTV tuner, Timer recording, EPG, Teletext, Parental control, 12 event 1 month timer, Video plus, One touch EZ recording mode, Progressive scan output, HDMI out with up scaling potential to 1080p and HDMI CEC Any net+ technology support, 24 bit audio processing, Dolby Digital and DTS audio quality, Auto Chapter, Slow speed view x 3 and Quick View with audio at x 1.7 speed. Intelligent auto setup with automatic channel sort and mapping facility is available in this device and it can detect station name and 99 station presets automatically. The audio output of the unit is Nicam Stereo output.
The connectivity types of the device are 2 x scart (1 x out), Audio out L/R, CVBS out, HDMI, Digital audio out, RF in, RF out (w/o modulator) and AV in (front), component video connection and Digital coaxial output. A remote control is provided with this device. The power consumption of the device at operational mode is 19 watt and standby consumption is 2.8watt.
